Supplemental Education Services

SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATION SERVICES

As required by the federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, schools receiving Title I funding that are in Corrective Action or Restructuring status must make available supplemental educational services to eligible students. These services are designed to help students achieve state standards in reading, writing and mathematics.

Students at Mosier Elementary School have not made Adequate Yearly Progress on the MCAS English/Language Arts tests, resulting in the designation of Mosier as a school in Restructuring. As required by law, the district has determined which children are eligible for services based on family income level. There are 113 eligible children at Mosier School. These children may receive tutoring fhat takes place outside of regular school hours at no cost to you. In order to receive services, parents/guardians must select a provider from a state list of approved provideers.
